Trust is the most important element in the harvesting process. You do not take out the seed you have planted and ask the seed whether it has grown. The results will show with your patience and faithfulness in watering and providing the nutrients. So it is with your life. Be patient, think the right thoughts, one step at a time, smile...It will come to pass.

Which came first.
The chicken or the egg? The chicken.
The spoken word or the written word? The thought, the spoken word, the written word.
The man or the woman? The man.
The woman or the baby? The woman.

Watering after Planting

Have you not observed that after you have planted seedlings into fertile ground, it is necessary to commence watering the soil to keep it moist to facilitate growth? The same applies to your vision. To stay on course in actualising your vision, you must constantly hold your vision in mind in belief (not doubt) and start 'watering" your vision by taking the neccessary steps towards it. How do you climb a mountain? One step at a time.

Seeing Your Provisions

The eagle is a symbol for pathfinder. The eagle is able to see its prey kilometers away and is certain of victory even before it descends upon its target. The same metaphor can be applied to harvesting. We are certain of success when we apply the principles of harvesting to our situation.

Possessing the Land

A second principle of harvesting can be found in the book of Hebrews where God said that you must know the promises of God and have the patience to see them come through in your life after believing and acting upon these promises.

2 words describe faith : sure and certain. When we believe God fulfills His promises even though we don't see those promises materializing yet, we demonstrate true faith.

Sowing and Reaping

The basic principle of harvesting is one of sowing and reaping. The law of sowing and reaping is an irrefutable truth that applies to all matters in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes, regardless of your belief system.

You reap what you sow, good or bad. Nevertheless, God is both gracious and merciful.
